About the Role
We develop and manufacture high-end 3D scanning systems - full-body and object scanners - and deliver end-to-end workflows from capture to production-ready 3D assets. Our solutions are used internationally across industries that demand precision, innovation, and reliable processes.
As our Head of Marketing & PR, you own botspot's external presence and brand narrative - from strategic positioning to hands-on execution. You build and lead our marketing function, translate our technology and vision into compelling communication, and ensure that botspot is visible, credible, and commercially relevant in the markets that matter. You work closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to align marketing efforts with business priorities and drive measurable impact across all channels.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with creative execution, is equally comfortable shaping a campaign concept and writing a press release, and thrives in a fast-moving, international high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own botspot's marketing and PR strategy - across brand, content, digital, and communications
Plan, execute, and evaluate B2B marketing campaigns for our premium 3D scanning systems - nationally and internationally
Lead all press and media relations: draft and place press releases, manage journalist relationships, and drive coverage in relevant trade and technology publications
Oversee and continuously develop our web presence using Framer - conceptually, editorially, and technically
Drive online marketing activities across SEO/SEA, email, and newsletter channels
Plan and manage botspot's social media presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram - developing channel strategies, overseeing content calendars, and executing with support from the team
Manage and grow our 3D Academy and 3D Database content series - developing and publishing educational and 3D assets posts that build community, demonstrate expertise, and generate inbound interest
Stage and present 3D assets effectively across digital channels - understanding how to make captures look compelling in context and what resonates visually with different audiences
Develop a sharp understanding of what potential customers want to see at each stage of their journey - and translate that into content, campaigns, and channel decisions
Create and manage marketing materials, sales collateral, and event assets (brochures, presentations, exhibition materials, etc.)
Produce high-quality content across formats - written, visual, and video - for multiple channels and audiences
Identify, plan, and execute trade show appearances and industry events nationally and internationally
Initiate and manage strategic partnerships, media cooperations, and co-marketing opportunities
Continuously bring new ideas to the table - on formats, channels, angles, and approaches - and drive them from concept to execution
Build and develop a marketing team as the company scales
Define KPIs, track performance, and continuously improve marketing effectiveness
Your Profile
You're a strategic and hands-on marketing leader who knows how to build a brand, generate visibility, and create content that resonates in a B2B high-tech context. You take ownership end-to-end - from concept to execution to results - and bring the structure, creativity, and drive to grow both the function and the brand.
We'd love to hear from you if you:
Hold a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a comparable field
Bring several years of experience in B2B marketing and PR, ideally in a technology or high-tech environment
Have a proven track record of running campaigns, managing media relations, and building brand presence
Are a strong and versatile communicator - across press releases, social content, presentations, and stakeholder conversations
Combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach
Work with a high degree of initiative, structure, and independence - while collaborating closely with other teams
Are proficient with design and content tools (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent) and digital marketing platforms
Think analytically, stay creatively ambitious, and always keep the bigger picture in focus
Communicate fluently in German and English - additional languages are a plus
