Mango Bowl

The ceramic bowl was captured on a turntable using a Canon R5 under controlled studio lighting. The object presents an interesting challenge for photogrammetry: the exterior is a deep matte charcoal with very low surface texture, while the interior carries a speckled, lightly glazed finish that produces a soft specular highlight. Lighting was carefully managed to retain surface detail across both finishes without overexposing the interior glaze or losing definition on the dark outer surface. The resulting model faithfully represents the clean, simple form of the bowl alongside the material contrast between its two faces — making it a useful reference for how consumer ceramics with mixed surface finishes can be digitised accurately for retail and design applications.
