How it All Began
How it All Began
In 2010, engineer Thomas Strenger opened Germany’s first 3D printing shop in Kreuzberg — and spotted the missing piece: a precise, color-true 3D scanner. Drawing on a television background, the team turned to photogrammetry and built BOTSCAN 01, the predecessor of today’s NEO.
As demand shifted to high-quality digital avatars, we doubled down on scanning. Patents, medical and industrial applications, and trust from global fashion, sports and automotive brands followed — setting the standard for speed, precision and scale.
Today botspot is based in Berlin’s Adlershof tech hub. Photogrammetry is our foundation — and the sky is the limit.
